WEEKLY PLANNING, MADE PRACTICAL

Build a week that works for your real routine.

A useful weekly schedule protects immovable commitments, keeps sufficient room for breaks and recovery, and stays easy to adjust when priorities change. The starting example is intentionally flexible, not a rule that everyone must follow.

▦ MON — SUN
STEP 01

Start with the prepared week

Work, rest, movement and personal tasks are already placed as examples. Review the 24-hour timetable and change anything that does not fit your life.

✦ CLICK A GAP
STEP 02

Add your own time blocks

Select an empty slot on the day and hour you need. Enter a short title, starting and ending times, category and optional details, then save.

↕ MOVE / RESIZE
STEP 03

Move and refine the plan

Drag a block vertically to another time or horizontally to another weekday. Resize from its bottom edge, or select the block for precise time changes.

⇩ PRINT / SAVE
STEP 04

Keep a copy you can use

Your work saves locally as you edit. Use Print / PDF for a paper view, export your data, or choose Save to My Schedules while signed in.

WHY THE EXAMPLE IS BALANCED

Plan commitments, not every spare minute.

The ready-made weekly routine starts with sleep, focused commitments, meals, movement and personal time. It deliberately leaves open periods so meetings, deadlines, commuting and unexpected errands can fit without constant reshuffling.

There is no single ideal timetable for everyone. Shift workers, parents, students and people with different sleep needs should adjust the example to their actual obligations and energy patterns. A weekly timetable is a planning aid, not a medical or workplace rule.

BEFORE YOU PRINT YOUR WEEK
01Confirm the correct weekdays and time slots.
02Check the overlap counter for clashing blocks.
03Leave space for travel, breaks and surprises.
04Keep a JSON backup if the plan matters.
WEEKLY BUILDER FAQ

Everything needed to edit your week.

Does the timetable show the entire 24 hours?

Yes. Every day runs from midnight to the next midnight. Scroll the timetable to view all hours; on a small screen, swipe sideways to view additional days.

How do I move an activity to another day or time?

Drag its card to the intended weekday and time. The move snaps to 15-minute steps. Select the card and edit the day/start/end fields for exact control on touchscreens or when you need precise changes.

Can an activity continue past midnight?

Yes. In the event editor, choose “Ends the next day.” A night-time event is shown in the late-night column and continued in the next day's early hours.

Will my edited week disappear when I refresh?

No, provided local browser storage is available and you have not cleared that storage. Download a JSON backup for a recoverable copy. Resetting the example or starting blank explicitly replaces the active local plan.

What happens when I save to My Schedules?

When signed in, the page saves your week as account-owned schedule and event records in the existing Supabase setup. Your separate My Schedules page can read those records. Cloud saving requires compatible table permissions; your browser copy stays available if cloud saving fails.

What is the difference between Print, CSV, ICS and JSON?

Print/PDF creates a visual timetable through the browser print dialog. CSV exports event rows, ICS can be imported into calendar programs, and JSON is the most complete restorable copy of this editor's week.
