Daily Schedule Builder
Design one intentional day, hour by hour. Start with a practical routine, protect your priorities, and move the moments that matter until the day really fits.
Choose how you want this day to flow.
Only the selected day is replaced when you apply a new strategy. Existing plans are never silently overwritten.
Your 24-hour timeline
Click empty space to add. Drag a block to move it; drag its bottom edge to resize.
Guest schedules save in this browser using the existing Daily Schedule Builder storage key. Cloud saving is optional and only happens when you explicitly choose it while signed in. Keep a JSON backup before changing devices or clearing browser data.
Use a daily schedule strategy that protects your energy.
Unlike a weekly roster, a daily planner makes each transition visible. Build around a handful of real commitments, give the important work an uninterrupted block, and leave room for the unexpected.
Start with an outcome
Decide what would make this particular day worthwhile before filling every hour.
Protect fixed time
Add shifts, appointments and travel as non-negotiable time blocks before flexible work.
Keep breathing space
Find genuinely available windows and leave buffers between commitments.
Revise as life changes
Move or resize existing cards rather than rebuilding the entire day from scratch.
From a rough idea to a realistic 24-hour plan.
A well-planned day is not a rigid list of tasks that assumes perfect concentration. It includes fixed events, focused work, meals, movement, recovery, personal time and unallocated space.
Illustrative schedule, not a medical recommendation
Your complete Daily Schedule Builder guide.
Use the instructions below to create and safely adjust one focused day. No advanced sidebar and no second weekly interface.
Start with an editable day—not an empty commitment.
Choose the desired calendar date. Select Balanced Day, Deep Work, Study Sprint, Shift Day or Family Flow to see a practical example. On your very first visit, a Balanced Day appears automatically. If you already have saved records, the tool restores them instead. Loading another strategy replaces only the selected date, and asks for confirmation when that day already contains events.
Adjust the schedule directly on the vertical timeline.
Click a blank portion of the grid to open an event form with the chosen starting time. Enter the activity title, start and end, priority, category, place and notes. Existing blocks can be dragged to a different hour and resized from the handle at the bottom. On mobile or for exact-minute changes, click the block and edit the times in the dialog instead.
Plan across morning, afternoon, evening and overnight hours.
The grid spans midnight to midnight, including hours outside an ordinary office shift. A block cannot cross into another date inside this one-day editor; split an overnight commitment into two dated portions if needed. Use the 24-hour markers to keep nighttime activities visible even when they are not within your working hours.
Scheduled hours and occupied hours answer different questions.
Scheduled time sums durations, even when appointments clash. Occupied time counts each clock minute only once. Open time is 24 hours minus occupied time. Use the conflict counter to review overlapping events. Enter three untimed priorities at the side; they do not automatically reserve calendar time. If a priority needs dedicated attention, create a timed focus block for it.
Back up the plan before anything important changes.
Local autosave preserves multiple dates in this browser. JSON export captures the complete Daily Studio state, including priorities and appearance settings. CSV exports the selected date's event rows; ICS exports timed events for calendar import; Print/PDF opens your browser's print preview. When signed into the existing ScheduleFlowLab account, Save to My Schedules creates or updates compatible schedule and event records in Supabase.
Leave realistic space between commitments.
Two simultaneous 60-minute blocks count as two scheduled hours but only one occupied hour. Check the overlap warnings before relying on free-time estimates. Add actual travel and preparation blocks rather than assuming they take no time. If a routine does not suit your personal needs, edit the example; it is not a prescriptive productivity or health schedule.
Answers before you plan your next day.
This planner is intentionally separate from a weekly timetable, staffing roster or month-view calendar.
What makes the Daily Schedule Builder different from the Weekly Builder?
It concentrates on one date in a 24-hour vertical timeline, with focused day strategies, three priorities, open-window suggestions and detailed single-day adjustments rather than seven-day scheduling columns.
Will loading a strategy delete my existing activities?
Only if you explicitly confirm replacing the selected date. Other dates are unaffected, and existing locally saved data is loaded before any first-use example.
Can I schedule overnight work?
Yes, you can plan at night, but each block must end on the same calendar date. Split a commitment that continues beyond midnight into the two dates involved.
How precise is moving or resizing a block?
Pointer-based changes snap to 15-minute steps. Open the editor to enter exact supported minute values.
Why do some events appear side by side?
When two events overlap, the timeline places them in separate lanes instead of hiding one; the collision counter indicates the conflict.
Will cloud save preserve my entire workspace?
Cloud save writes compatible timed event records for the signed-in account. Daily-specific local priorities and editor appearance are not guaranteed to survive a cloud-only restore; use the JSON backup for complete recovery.
Where are my saved schedules?
The dedicated My Schedules account page lists schedules stored in Supabase. Guest-only plans remain in the browser that created them.
What should I do before replacing an old Daily Builder?
Export its saved work first. This version can read the existing Daily Builder local storage format, but an independent JSON backup is still the safest protection against unexpected differences.
Give every hour a purpose.
