EDITORIAL POLICY
Useful scheduling content needs a standard that can be checked.
This policy explains how ScheduleFlowLab defines a page’s purpose, researches factual claims, describes product testing, uses AI-assisted tools, handles corrections and separates commercial relationships from editorial conclusions.
SCOPE
What this policy covers
This policy applies to public editorial material published by ScheduleFlowLab: scheduling guides, shift-pattern explanations, template instructions, comparisons, examples, FAQs and the written guidance surrounding ScheduleFlowLab tools.
Generated schedule output is not editorial advice merely because it appears on a ScheduleFlowLab page. Readers still need to check the actual workplace, school, household, contractual, regulatory and safety context.
Legal policies, account notices and interface controls have different functions, but claims made in them must still be accurate, clear and honestly limited.
PAGE TERRITORY
One page should solve one primary job.
A new URL should add a distinct function, decision, workflow or information territory—not merely rephrase an existing page.
Define the user need
Set the audience, primary task, intended outcome and important exclusions before drafting.
Check existing coverage
Review published tools, hubs and guides to prevent duplicate intent and keyword cannibalization.
Keep the boundary clear
Related information may be summarized, but unrelated material is not added simply to make a page longer.
Deliver independent value
The page must help a visitor complete its specific task even if it is the only page they read.
A keyword can reveal a real need, but ranking potential does not justify thin, duplicate, misleading or artificially expanded content.
PUBLISHING PROCESS
From idea to maintained page
-
01
Define
Document the user task, page territory, audience and exclusions.
-
02
Research
Check terminology, behavior, definitions and factual claims against suitable evidence.
-
03
Draft
Use steps, examples, tables and cautions only when they advance the page’s job.
-
04
Test
Inspect relevant tool behavior and record limitations of the verification performed.
-
05
Review
Check accuracy, scope, originality, accessibility basics, links and potentially misleading wording.
-
06
Maintain
Revisit material when the product changes, facts become stale or a credible correction is reported.
SOURCING
The evidence should match the claim.
Primary and official material
First-party documentation, government or institutional material, standards and direct product inspection are preferred for product behavior, public rules and official definitions.
Reliable secondary context
Strong secondary sources may explain context or identify an issue that requires primary-source verification. They are not automatically authoritative.
Community reports
Forums, comments and reviews may reveal user friction. An individual report is not presented as a universal fact without additional support.
Unacceptable authority signals
ScheduleFlowLab does not knowingly publish fabricated statistics, fake testimonials, invented quotations, made-up credentials or false firsthand experience.
When a factual claim benefits from direct verification, the supporting source should be identifiable near the claim or in a clearly associated reference area.
TESTING & FRESHNESS
Describe only what was actually checked.
A screenshot does not prove that a backend write, account permission, integration or database action succeeded. Static code review, a mocked browser test and a live production test are different kinds of evidence and are not described as interchangeable.
When verification is incomplete, the limitation is stated. Planned features are labeled as planned and are not presented as available before they exist in the published experience.
Product behavior, public guidance and other volatile facts are checked again when the page is meaningfully revised. A “last updated” date changes only after a substantive review—not as a cosmetic freshness signal.
AI-ASSISTED WORK
Tools may assist; they do not become the evidence.
ScheduleFlowLab may use software, including artificial-intelligence tools, to organize research, draft or edit text, review code, identify inconsistencies, generate test cases or support quality checks.
Machine-generated output is not accepted as evidence by itself. Assisted material is reviewed for relevance, unsupported claims, factual accuracy, internal consistency and alignment with the page’s territory.
When a claim relies on an external source, the underlying source—not an AI summary—supports the claim. Generated examples or visuals are not presented as proof of a real customer, completed project or firsthand experience that did not occur.
CORRECTIONS
Material errors should be fixed, not hidden.
A report is assessed against the affected page, current evidence and product behavior. Reporting an issue does not guarantee that requested wording will be adopted.
Report
Identify the URL, statement and any source that should be considered.
Review
Assess the evidence and significance of the possible error.
Correct
Fix confirmed material errors; significant changes may receive a note.
Update
Change the review date only after a meaningful review or revision.
COMMERCIAL INDEPENDENCE
Revenue cannot purchase an editorial conclusion.
Advertising, sponsorships, affiliate relationships or other commercial arrangements are kept distinguishable from editorial content. Payment does not entitle an advertiser or partner to an undisclosed favorable claim or to suppress a relevant limitation.
Material connections are disclosed where they could affect how a reasonable reader interprets the content. Commercial priorities may influence which useful topics receive attention, but they do not change documented facts or justify duplicate or misleading pages.
ScheduleFlowLab content does not imply medical, legal, financial, regulatory, educational or workforce-management qualifications that have not been established.
