MONTH-END REVIEW

Stay ahead of deadlines

See pending work and concentrated days without turning this into a daily timeline.

Guest plans remain on this device. Cloud save creates or updates an account-owned copy of the displayed month. JSON preserves the complete local workspace, including recurrence and notes.

MONTHLY PLANNING EXPLAINED

Why a month view needs a different strategy.

Daily plans organize hours; weekly plans balance time across seven days. Monthly planning is about sequence, deadlines, commitments and capacity across calendar dates. Start with anchors, reserve preparation time in advance, then review clusters and carry recurring obligations forward.

01 / ANCHOR DATES
31CALENDAR ANCHORS

Put immovable commitments first

Place exams, billing dates, delivery milestones and appointments on their real dates. An all-day item signals a calendar-day responsibility without inventing a meeting time.

02 / MONTHLY DEPENDENCIES
↗PREPARE → DELIVER

Plan backwards from deadlines

A deadline is more useful when a review, document check or study session is scheduled earlier. Keep enough spare dates for unexpected delays.

03 / REAL WORKLOAD
◈SPOT BUSY DATES

Separate a busy day from a time clash

Three independent tasks on one day may be manageable. Two timed appointments at the same hour create a real overlap. Our calendar reports these separately.

04 / REPEAT RULES
↻RECUR MONTHLY

Repeat responsibly

Monthly recurrence follows the original day number; a 31st-day item does not appear in months lacking that date. Skip one occurrence if it is not needed.

COMPLETE USER MANUAL

From an editable month to a calendar you can trust.

Every item in the month grid is an independent record, with date, title, category, timing, recurrence, status and optional context.

01Choose your month and startBrowse with arrows or the month picker. A new user starts with the Balanced Month example; you can select a project, academic or household strategy instead.
02Create by clicking a dateClick unused space in any calendar date, choose a title and category, then save. Select All day for deadlines or enter exact clock times for appointments.
03Move and edit an existing itemDrag its card to a different date on desktop or tap to open the editor. Dragging recurring series requires editing the series intentionally; single-occurrence exceptions can be skipped.
04Complete, duplicate or omit an occurrenceSelect a date to open its detailed list. Mark one-off milestones complete, duplicate an item to the next month or skip one occurrence of a recurring responsibility.
05Review month-level warningsCheck the busy-date and conflict counters, then scan upcoming deadlines and daily details. Busy-date signals are not a substitute for duration or travel-time review.
06Save, print and restore safelyGuest changes autosave locally when browser storage is allowed. Cloud save requires sign-in; JSON is the most complete portable backup. CSV/ICS export the displayed month.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Monthly Builder FAQs

The month overview is intentionally simpler than a multi-feature homepage studio. Its controls are centered on monthly decisions.

Does the planner start blank?

No, on a fresh browser it loads an editable Balanced Month plan. Existing saved monthly schedules take priority and are not silently replaced.

Can I move an event to another day?

Yes. On desktop, drag a non-recurring calendar card to another date. On touch devices or for exact changes, open the event and select a new date.

Can I add a deadline without a clock time?

Yes. Choose All-day item. Such deadlines do not count as timed appointments when detecting time conflicts.

Can I repeat an item on the 31st?

Yes, but it only appears in months with a 31st. The builder does not silently move it to the last day of February or another shorter month.

Can I edit only one monthly occurrence?

Use Skip this occurrence in the selected-date panel to omit one repeat and add a separate single-date replacement if needed. Editing the original recurring item changes the series.

Does Save to My Schedules upload every month?

No. It saves a snapshot of the currently displayed month using your authenticated account. Guest autosave and JSON keep the complete local workspace. The live account database must permit saves.

What happens when I clear browser data?

Unsynced guest plans may be lost. Export a JSON backup before clearing storage or moving to another browser.

MONTHLY CLARITY STARTS WITH ONE REAL DATE

See the next thirty days before they fill up.

Start with your important dates. Move the details into place, check the busiest days and keep a recoverable copy.
